Besides the possibility to download all files you’ve put online, you might be interested to see statistics for online activities you make through your personal Google account and to sign up for “Account Activity” reports. Account Activity is one of the newest Google services, currently in Beta version.
Within one single dashboard, depending on the number of Google’s interconnected services you use , Google Activity reports will provide to you an information organized in several different sections. Each of the sections contains appropriate data. As for now, only information for following services can be displayed in the Dashboard: Google Account, Gmail, Google Latitude, YouTube, Google Calendar, Picasa Web Albums and Web History.
In the Account section there is information about locations, type of the browsers and OS platforms from where you did sign-ins.
In the Gmail section you can see the exact number of sent and received messages.
Visited places, recent trips and how you spend your time per week are under Google Latitude section.
Under YouTube section there is simplified statistics for:
- Number of viewed videos;
- Number of YouTube searches;
- Number of views of your uploaded videos;
- Which uploaded video is the most popular;
- Viewer’s locations.
These monthly reports give you a general overview on your usage of Google products, meanwhile ensuring that your account is safe.
